Tara Lancione, RN - Founder and Immediate Past Chair of NNPS
Tara Lancione has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, most of those years in Oncology.
Eric Clarke, Fifth Third Bank - President
Eric Clarke is an Assistant Vice President working as a Membership Advantage Officer for Fifth Third Bank. He has been with the bank for over nine years. Prior to that, he served as the Community Affairs Director for ABC-6 / FOX-28 in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, he also serves on the Foundation Board for the Better Business Bureau and is involved with the March of Dimes and Epilepsy Foundations. Eric lives in Upper Arlington with his wife and two children.
Jan Lanier, RN, JD - Vice President
Jan Lanier has been a Registered Nurse for over 46 years and an attorney since 1994. She has spent her career supporting nurses and the nursing profession. Her colleagues recognize her as a nursing leader, both locally and state-wide. Currently she teaches health policy and ethics to graduate nursing students at The Ohio State University, and also serves as a consultant, author, and public speaker.
William Crisp, CPA - Treasurer-Chief Financial Officer
William Crisp is the Vice President of Bolon, Hart & Buehler, Inc. His work has focused on assisting and advising individuals and small businesses, with expertise in income tax planning and compliance and financial reporting. His primary focus has been on providers of professional services including physicians, attorneys and dentists; and in the areas of real estate development and management. His expertise in computers also allows him to serve the firm as the network administrator and accounting software troubleshooter.
Stephanie Cassini - Secretary
Stephanie Cassini is the Director of Business Development at McCarthy Health Services. She holds a B.A in psychology from The Ohio State University and has been in the pharmaceutical industry for the past 18 years as a specialty hospital representative, regional sales manager and national sales director, working with physicians and nurses. She served on the executive board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio for 11 years as secretary, vice president, chairman of the board for over two years, and immediate past president. She was instrumental in the merger of the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Cincinnati with the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio. Ms. Cassini also sits on the Secretary of State’s Advisory Board for the Americans with Disability Act. Her years of working with health care professionals have shown her the importance of nurses’ contributions to both patients and their families.
Mary Ellen Wissel, M.D.
Mary Ellen Wissel, M.D. is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Blood Banking. She retired in 2013, after 25 years of service as Medical Director of the American Red Cross Blood Services in Central Ohio. Dr. Wissel knows from professional and personal experience that nurses play a very special role in the care of patients and their families, and she wants to support the time honored values of the nursing profession for generations to come.
Michael Rosati, Rosati Windows
Michael Rosati is the Founder and CEO of Rosati Windows. An active philanthropist, he currently serves on the following Boards: Buckeye Ranch, Ohio Cancer Research, Ohio Justice League, and National Association of The Remodeling Industry. He is also the Founding Corporate Sponsor of Charitable Pharmacy.
Annie M. Krzan, RN
Annie is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and currently attending The Ohio State University College of Nursing with a goal of becoming a family nurse practitioner (FNP). As a new member of the nursing profession, Annie brings a much need perspective to the NNPS board. She was an exceptional leader and scholar in her undergraduate program and is excited to be able to contribute to the work of NNPS. She believes it is important for nursing to be portrayed accurately so that young people are able to make a well-informed decision about nursing as a career choice.
Kashif Khan has been working in higher education and for social justice causes for the last 15 years. His professional goal is to promote critical thinking, social justice, and equity within educational or non-profit organizations, thereby creating an atmosphere that improves and addresses institutional, developmental and societal needs. He is also on the board of another Columbus area non-profit, Teen Start.
Kashif is an independent diversity training consultant and is currently enrolled at The Ohio State University. He received his Masters in Education from Youngstown State University in 2001.
Joan Milstead, SPHR, MBA
Joan Milstead is a strategic Human Resources Professional with more than 15 years experience providing vision and counsel to Senior Executives and their teams, developing and leading human resources initiatives, providing value added business consulting in organizational change management, team effectiveness, organizational development and talent management. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and earned an Executive MBA from Ohio University. She has been with Nationwide Insurance for the past 10 years.
